Unfortunately I'm now waiting on parts (beacon light, mounting hardware for the static wicks, as well as my balance counterweight and bottom rib) before I can close up and complete the rudder, so I've put the clecoed assembly aside for now and moved onto the last empennage assembly, the elevator.

I'm still waiting for a rib and the fibreglass tips for this as well, but I can crack with the prep for this in the meantime.

The manual treats the balance counterweight arm and the spar as separate subassemblies, so I've started with those.
